Follow Guy on his GGR Transatlantic Qualifier!
Starting in June 2026, Guy will sail Spirit on a 4,000 nm transatlantic qualifier for the Golden Globe Race. Departing from the Canary Islands, he’ll round designated waypoints in the Atlantic before making his way north to Les Sables d’Olonne, France—the host port of the GGR 2026.
Completing the qualifier is one of the major milestones remaining for Guy and will bring him one step closer to earning his GGR green card.
