A lifelong sailor originally from New Orleans, and a proud Key West resident for now over 22 years, I have competed on the water at every level. From dinghies to maxis, and Olympic classes to extreme adventure events—you name it, I’ve raced it.
A solo circumnavigation is still on my bucket list and I’m taking on the ultimate challenge to cap off my sailing career.
In 2022, I was one of only two American skippers to enter the Golden Globe Race. Now, having overcome immense challenges and rebuilding Spirit, I am preparing for the 2026 edition of this legendary event.
I can’t wait to get to the starting line. Join me on this epic journey—and my quest to become the 1st American skipper to win the GGR.
